I don't normally enter challenges (lack of time and inspiration usually!) but this weeks 'Simon Says Stamp' challenge was a must. I love Tim Holtz (I have to admit I sometimes fantasise about being the woman to turn him straight LOL - I am right in thinking he is gay aren't I?) Can you imagine being married to him though - hours spent getting inky - bliss.
Anyway - down to the challenge. I have used distress inks, cut a flourish out of foil and alcohol inked that, stamped using some of his design stamps and coated the soar ticket in glossy accents. There is also a little bit of crackle paint on the chipboard corners.
Gorgeous piece! love the texture and muted colours in this. xx

ReplyDeleteHi Karen, good to see you joining in, loving the foiled flourish and the marbled look the inks have given it.
ReplyDeleteLove this piece, Karen, especially the embellie you made in the last photo with the watch parts.
