Need a card QUICK!

Anyone as forgetful as I am will often need to produce a few cards on the spot (usually at about 4.45 when the post goes as 5pm!)
Yesterday was that day for me - and not just one card - oh no - I don't make it easy for myself - I needed 3!
Anyway - these are what I came up with - they wouldn't win any prizes (and don't look too closely) but they were simple, quick and easy - AND, most importantly I made it to the post box in time!
Only one thing - I wish someone had reminded me that stickles take a little while to dry - blotting the excess off and blasting with the heatgun did the trick though :)

Thanks for looking

Still in an inky mood so making the most of it (my mojo has been known to take a hike for months on end!).

Alice in Wonderland

These are all things I made a while ago but I just love the Alice in Wonderland Stamps by Cherry Pie. They are probably my most used stamps set :)

I made this bag using plain white cotton. Soaked the cotton in a thin mix of PVA glue and water first. Then when dry I stamped the images and coloured them with Promarkers. Then I gave the bag a final coat of matt medium to seal.

This bag is made by stamping the plain white cotton and then adding some sticky bag plastic book film to the fabric. You then iron the film to seal it into the fabric (you need to sandwich the fabrics between greaseproof or baking paper to protect your iron and ironing board and iron very very carefully on a low to medium heat otherwise the plastic burns). Finally I coloured the whole thing with promarkers.

Greetings.....

Here's a card and envelope I made a little while ago. I do think love decorating envelopes and insides of cards if I have the time :)

More Wedding Stuff from Last Year!

More of the wedding stuff that took over all my spare time last year!

Door Hanger for the Wedding Night!
Before the wedding Holly had asked that I do her wedding album in a scrapbook sort of style so I had the two weeks they were on Honeymoon to get it done. I didn't get the photos until about 3 days before they were due to come back so I planned all the pages beforehand then worked like the clappers once I got the pics. This is just a selection - There were 48 pages in all!

Finally the album was so heavy I thought I better made a padded (and waterproof) protective bag for it to be transported in.
Thanks for looking

When crafting takes over your life!

I know it is no excuse however I first stopped posting on the old blog due to my daughters impending wedding and all the crafting I was doing because of it. Her wedding was last May so I know that doesn't excuse the last year (however she did get pregnant a month after her wedding so the crafting like mad focus changed from wedding stuff to baby stuff). I thought I would start by showing a few of the items I made for the wedding last year :)

Guest Book (basic book made with a Binditall - Coverall - then I attached a padded cover made out of wedding dress material)

Bride and Bridesmaid Bouquets (using silk roses and lots of wired crystal beads) and Ring Cushion.

Table Decorations
Cake Stand and Beaded Garland

Table Plan
Bridesmaid Dress
My Outfit and the Mens Cravats (matching the Bridesmaid)Napkin Rings, Wine Glass Charms, Favours, Place Cards
Chair Covers
And of course the day and evening invitations.
I think that will do for today but check back tomorrow as there is more! LOL
